Overview

Centro de Convenciones WTC rents dozens of halls across three levels — Upper Floor (20 halls, from 63 m² to 4,400+ m²), Mezzanine (7 multi-module halls) and Ground Floor (4 halls, 13,600+ m² combined). I captured the halls as 360° Matterport tours and placed each one on the venue's site, so organizers can walk any space — Toltecas, Mexicas, Olmecas, Huichol, Tulum and more — before they book.

01 · The challenge

Choosing a hall among dozens of options was hard from photos and floor numbers alone.

  • Organizers had to picture size, height, finishes and circulation without visiting.
  • Many halls combine into larger spaces, which is hard to explain in words.
  • Every hall needed the same format so spaces could be compared fairly.

02 · The solution

High-resolution 360° capture of each hall processed in Matterport, with a tour for every individual room and for the combined configurations (e.g. Olmecas 1–4, Mexicas 1 & 2). Tours are organized by floor on the venue's site — Upper Floor, Mezzanine and Ground Floor — each with a “Virtual tour” link.

03 · Results

  • 31 walkable tours covering the venue's halls and combined layouts.
  • Organizers and exhibitors evaluate spaces remotely, from any device.
  • Tours organized by floor and hall on the venue's own site.
  • One consistent format, so halls can be compared side by side.
